You don't have to be a cowboy to enjoy the countryside. .. but after this ride, you might start to feel like one.
Explore the rural surroundings of Tibi on a 1 hour and 45 minute horseback riding experience through the hills and valleys of the Mediterranean. A perfect way to relax, learn about horses and enjoy the tranquillity of the Alicante countryside.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at the riding centre in Tibi, in Hoya de Alcoy. Upon arrival, we will be welcomed and we will meet the horses that will accompany us during the ride. Before riding, we will share a quiet moment of preparation: we will brush the horse together, saddle it with an English saddle and learn the basic notions to communicate with it and feel comfortable from the first minute.
Then we'll go up to the arena, where we'll do a few laps to practice the basic movements and gain confidence. When we're all ready, we'll head out into the countryside for a 45-minute guided ride through the rural landscapes at the foot of the Sierra del Maimón mountain range.
We will walk through a valley surrounded by the Peña Migjorn and the Sierra del Maimón, with gentle ascents and descents between dirt tracks. All around us, pines, holm oaks, rosemary, thyme, olive and almond trees create a Mediterranean landscape full of aromas and calm. If we are lucky, we may see some rabbits in the bushes.
During the route you will be able to take photos to take home a nice souvenir. At the end, we will return to the riding centre after a relaxed and authentic experience which, between preparation and ride, lasts approximately 1 hour in total.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 7 and over. Minors can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is easy, ideal even if it is your first time on horseback.
To participate, it is only necessary not to exceed 100 kg in weight.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
If you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair, participation is possible, but you must inform the organisers in advance .You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.

The activity is available all year round, from Wednesday to Sunday.
The saddle used is English.
Free parking is available on site.
The meeting point is not accessible by public transport.
Pets are allowed on a lead, although horse riding with dogs that are not used to horses is not recommended. In any case, advance notice must be given.
Non-participating companions can join in by walking along the route or wait at the riding centre.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
