Lose yourself in nature, riding through fields and forests under the unmistakable silhouette of Pedraforca.
Before starting this horseback ride, you will have time to get to know the animal and you will prepare it together with the guide, creating a bond. Then you will ride for about 3 km between forest tracks of Berguedà, gentle slopes and spectacular views of the Cadí-Moixeró and Pedraforca.

What we will do
We will meet at the equestrian centre in Saldes, 10 minutes before the start of the activity. There we will be met by the guide who will accompany us on this experience.
Before starting the route, we will spend some time getting in tune with the horse: we will brush it, help to prepare it and learn the basics to guide it safely. Afterwards, we will ride a few laps around the track to familiarise ourselves with the horse's rhythm and to receive the key indications from the riding instructor.
Once prepared, we will ride for about 3 km along forest tracks and dirt roads, surrounded by open landscapes, majestic mountains and nature in its purest state, with views of the imposing Pedraforca and the Cadí-Moixeró natural park.
The route will be quiet, flat along forest tracks, with only a few gentle climbs and descents. Along the route we will border some streams and we will be completely immersed in the nature of the Berguedà region. The guide will accompany us on foot throughout the route, or on horseback if the group is experienced.
The activity has a total duration of approximately 1 hour, with 45 minutes riding.
Who it is aimed at
This is an activity for people with no horse riding experience and can participate from the age of 4 years old.
Children must be accompanied. Otherwise, a responsible adult will have to accompany them on foot during the route.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities. It is also not recommended for people with heart conditions, back or hip problems. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to contact your doctor.
It is strictly forbidden to do the activity under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
It is necessary to inform the guide before the activity of the weight, height and level of experience of the participants. This way they will be able to prepare a suitable horse. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available all year round and is confirmed when a minimum of 2 participants is reached.
Accompanying persons who do not participate may wait on the premises of the equestrian centre. Dogs may also be kept on a lead.
Free parking is available for participants on the premises of the riding school. The area is very difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
