On one side, the sand; on the other, the ocean. Yes, but it's not your typical horseback ride along the beach.
Join our equestrian adventure in Doñana National Park: you'll ride over the dunes of one of the highest coastal dune systems in Europe!
A 1 hour experience that will leave you with your mouth open (but watch out for the sand grains!).
What we will do
The appointment is 15 minutes before the selected time at the meeting point in Matalascañas, Huelva. The equestrian guide who will accompany us on this adventure will be waiting for us there.
Once all the participants have gathered and the equipment has been received, the horses will be assigned to us. We will get into the saddle and learn the basics of riding; the guide will provide all the necessary information to enjoy a carefree experience. This part will last approximately 10 minutes.
Then we are ready for our horseback ride! We will ride through pines and junipers, until we enter the Doñana National Park. We will ride through the sand dunes, with panoramic views of the national park and the Atlantic Ocean, one of the highest coastal dune chains in Europe! The guide will lead the group on horseback and offer constant support.
After about 5 km, we will finally return to the meeting point. The horseback ride will last approximately 50 minutes; the whole experience will last 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 12 and over. Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult to the meeting point.
A maximum weight of 150 kg is required to participate.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with back or hip problems.
The experience is easy and suitable as a first ride on horseback.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed when the minimum number of 2 participants is reached.
Free parking is available on site. The meeting point is accessible by public transport.
In winter and spring season, the tour includes a glass of sweet wine.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
