Can you imagine riding through one of the natural jewels of Galicia?
Enter the Xurés Park on horseback and discover the Biosphere Reserve in a guided experience of 1 hour and 15 minutes between oak groves and ancient mountain trails. Connect with the nobility of these horses, which live in freedom, while you contemplate the most authentic panoramic views and the villages of Ourense. Ride in complete safety, enjoy the peaceful surroundings and breathe fresh air.
What we will do
We will meet 15 minutes before the agreed time at our meeting point in Torno, in the province of Ourense. Upon arrival, we will be warmly welcomed and given our safety helmet. Before starting the walk, we will enjoy a moment of rapprochement to introduce ourselves to the real protagonists. These animals live in the wild, which makes the connection with them even more special and authentic.
Once in the saddle, our technical riding guides will reveal the secrets of speaking the same language as our companion. We will learn the practical guidelines for balance and handling the reins necessary to navigate this mountainous area. We will discover how to synchronise our body with that of the horse on each slope, feeling the security of being one team as we leave civilisation behind.
Then, we will leave the centre and take a route that will immerse us in the heart of the impressive Parque do Xurés. We will ride between dirt tracks and leafy oak groves, in a silence broken only by the rhythmic passing of the hooves. If we are lucky, nature will give us the chance to see roe deer or wild boar in the thicket. When we reach the highest areas, we will contemplate spectacular views of the small Galician villages, which seem to have stopped in time under our feet.
At the end of the route, we will return to the farm where we will take some photos to immortalise this experience of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all levels, from beginners to more experienced riders.
The minimum age to participate is 11 years old. Minors must be accompanied or present a signed authorisation.
For the welfare of the horses, the maximum weight allowed is 90 kg.
Pregnant women should consult their doctor before taking part in the activity.
For people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs, adapted 30-minute rides are available (subject to prior notice and price changes) .

The experience is available all year round.
The activity is strictly dependent on weather conditions, especially between November and February.
The timetable is subject to change; it is necessary to contact the organisers to coordinate the exact timetable.
The tour is confirmed with at least 2 participants.
This is a shared activity with groups of up to 6 participants.
It is essential to indicate in advance the weight and height of the participants in order to assign the ideal horse; you will receive the contact details in the confirmation email.
Free parking is available on the premises. Bus access is also possible, although frequency is limited.
Pets are allowed on the farm (always leashed and under supervision) , but may not accompany them during the equestrian route.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
