Looking for a getaway near Santiago? Go deep into forests and trails surrounded by oak and eucalyptus trees on a route designed for all levels.
Enjoy a 1-hour guided experience on horseback in a privileged environment in Brión, halfway between Santiago and Noia. The perfect opportunity to enjoy an outdoor adventure activity, crossing hidden spots and magical paths surrounded by absolute peace.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before departure at the meeting point in Lugar de Tembra, in the municipality of Brión. On arrival, we will be greeted with a warm welcome and we will take the opportunity to try on our helmets and familiarise ourselves with the riding environment. This is the moment to meet the horses, which will already be saddled and ready for us, and to get ready to enjoy an environment full of peace and fresh air very close to Santiago de Compostela.
Before going out to the field, we will dedicate a few minutes to a short theoretical explanation and we will practice in the indoor arena. For about 10 minutes, our instructors will teach us the basic notions of driving so that we feel totally safe on the English saddles. Once the group is ready, we will leave the facilities to begin our immersion in the Galician nature.
The route is circular and will take us through the hidden spots that surround the area. We will enjoy a landscape dominated by eucalyptus, oak trees and fields full of life, far from any urban noise. If we have previous experience, the monitors will be able to adapt the pace to trot or gallop at their discretion; if it is our first time, we will let ourselves be carried away by the docility of the animals as we go through forests and magical paths.
After having explored the most beautiful places in this area near Bertamiráns, we will return to the equestrian centre to close the day. This unforgettable experience of contact with the environment lasts a total of 1 hour, the ideal time to learn to respect and enjoy the biodiversity that A Coruña has to offer.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is ideal for beginners and people who have never ridden before, thanks to the docility of the horses.
The minimum age to participate is 5 years old (always accompanied by an adult) .
The maximum weight allowed to participate is 90 kg.
Pregnant women can participate at their own risk.
This activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility or wheelchair users.
Other information
The experience takes place all year round, from Monday to Friday, in the mornings and afternoons. In summer, departures are extended until 21: 00h to take advantage of the light.
A minimum of 1 participant and a maximum of 8 per group is required.
Free parking is available at the meeting point.
Pets can accompany you on the route or wait comfortably in a box at the riding school. Please let the organisers know in advance.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
