A horseback ride in Montseny is much more than just an outdoor activity: it's 1 hour of pure connection with nature.
You will follow the guide through rural tracks, leafy woods and open stretches from which you will enjoy spectacular views. You won't have to worry about a thing: after a brief explanation and demonstration, all you have to do is ride and enjoy the surroundings.
A quiet route, adapted to the pace of the group, to disconnect at a trot through one of the most beautiful parks in Catalonia. Do you fancy it?
What we will do
The meeting point will be in Cànoves i Samalús, in the province of Barcelona, 30 minutes before the start of the walk. The team will meet us there, with everything ready to start the experience.
We will start by signing the authorisations and we will continue with a detailed explanation on how to handle the horse. Although the activity is suitable for more experienced riders to have a good time in nature, there will be no problem if you are a novice, as you will also attend a demonstration to understand the basic movements before getting into the saddle.
It will not be necessary to prepare the horse: everything will be ready to enjoy and we will immediately set off along the paths of the Montseny following the guide who will accompany us on horseback. The route will take us through all types of terrain, from paths through lush forests and dirt tracks to some stretches of asphalt, always in a stunning natural environment.
At all times we will enjoy spectacular views, surrounded by the majestic nature of the Montseny Natural Park, while following a pace adapted to the group. No rush, but no pause.
The experience will last 1 hour and the kilometres of the route will be adapted to suit us.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable as a first experience on horseback. Experienced riders can also participate and have a good time.
*Important: the maximum weight per participant (including clothes) is 85 kg. You will be weighed before your horse is assigned to you.
Between the ages of 6 and 13 years old, you will need to be accompanied by a walking adult. This can be a legal guardian or one of the horse riding instructors, at an additional cost and upon prior request. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
From 14 years of age, minors may ride alone. They will need to have a signed authorisation .
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with mobility problems.

The experience is available all year round and can be done even with just one participant.
The timetable of the activity may change. The organiser will contact you to confirm the final schedule.
The guide will accompany the group on horseback. If it is necessary for a guide to go on foot, there will be two guides.
The saddle used will be the one that best suits the horse assigned to you.
Accompanying persons not participating in the ride will be allowed to wait on the premises of the equestrian centre. It will not be possible to enter with dogs.
There is free parking on the premises for participants. The area cannot be reached by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is very strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 31 days from the activity start date. Within 30 and 15 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
