Enjoy a guided snorkelling tour in the Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormiga Marine Reserve. For 2 hours, you will explore with an expert instructor the most lively corners of the coast of Murcia in an experience that combines learning and marine adventure.
Feel like one of the colourful fish, you won't regret it!
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the booking time at the dive centre located very close to La Manga del Mar Menor, Murcia. The team will meet us there to give us the equipment and give us a 15 minute introduction to the activity.
Once equipped, we will travel by vehicle with the instructor to the beach chosen for the adventure. Normally, we will explore the spectacular Marine Reserve of Cabo de Palos and Islas Hormigas, although if the weather requires it, we will move to Cartagena to ensure the best visibility conditions.
We will enjoy a first 1 hour snorkelling session amongst the rich biodiversity of the area. At all times, the instructor will guide us and enliven the activity with curious facts about the flora and fauna.
After the first contact, we will have a break on the beach to have a drink and recover our energy with a snack, while we discuss the first species sighted before diving again for the second round.
Under the surface, we will be surprised by an infinity of small fish of different colours, but also some gilthead breams, salps? With a bit of cunning and following the instructor's instructions, we can even spot an octopus camouflaged among the rocks.
At the end of this underwater adventure, we will return to the dive centre to end the day after 3 hours of pure disconnection.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary.
Good health is required and you will have to fill in a medical form beforehand. If you have a previous medical condition that may affect your ability to participate in the activity, you may be required to present a medical certificate issued by a doctor. For more information, you will receive the contact details of the dive centre in the booking confirmation email.
It is possible to participate from the age of 6 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult and present the medical form signed by a legal guardian.
It is necessary to know how to swim or at least feel comfortable in the water.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
It is not an accessible experience for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
It is possible to do the experience from April to November.
In the dive centre there is a toilet and a changing room. There are no hot showers, only the equipment cleaning area with cold water.
Although there are no locked lockers, there is an area to deposit personal belongings in the reception area in complete safety.
Accompanying persons not participating in the tour can wait at the dive centre. If there are free places in the vehicle, they can also accompany the group to the beach.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
