Did you know that you don't have to go to the Caribbean to swim surrounded by schools of fish and rays?
Enjoy an experience of up to 1 hour and 20 minutes in La Lajita, Fuerteventura snorkelling in a volcanic reef teeming with life that looks like a real natural aquarium. You'll be immersed in an underwater landscape of spectacular rock formations in an adventure guided by professionals, who will make you feel like a fish in the water from the very first minute.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point on the beach of La Lajita, where we will be welcomed. The first 30 minutes will be dedicated to technical preparation: the organisers will give us all the equipment (mask, snorkel and fins) and will explain to us in a simple way how to breathe and move in order to enjoy ourselves to the maximum. No problem if you are not an expert swimmer; the aim is for you to feel totally confident and relaxed before you start.
Once ready, we will enter the water directly from the shore. Accompanied at all times by a qualified guide, we will begin to explore the volcanic reef, a place where the geology of Fuerteventura has created caves and hiding places perfect for marine fauna. During a 50 minute dive, we will swim among schools of local fish and, if we are lucky, we may see some rays gliding elegantly over the volcanic sandy bottom. The visibility in this area is so brutal that you'll feel like you're inside a giant natural aquarium.
It's an experience designed to float, observe and disconnect from the outside world. We will glide over the reef while the guide points out the most interesting nooks and crannies and the most curious species hiding among the rocks. At the end, we will return to the sand with the feeling of having discovered a new world in an experience of approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes between preparation and immersion.

The activity is ideal for beginners and people who want to start snorkelling safely; no previous experience is necessary .
Children can participate from the age of 6 years and must always be accompanied by an adult.

People with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs can do the activity, but it will be necessary to inform the organisers in advance.

The experience takes place every day with morning and afternoon departures.
The group is usually around 8 people to guarantee personalised attention.

At the meeting point there are lockers for personal belongings and a changing area, although there are no showers.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
