Full description
Tired of the typical "round and round" plan on the sand? Give your day at the beach a twist and discover the most authentic side of the Costa Brava by sailing along the Camino de Ronda!
Enjoy a 2-hour guided experience in Platja d'Aro, a great, easy level experience ideal for everyone. Accompanied by qualified instructors, you'll paddle past colossal rock formations across Sa Conca beach and dive into a fun snorkelling stop to explore the seabed with panoramic masks in the secluded Cala Pedrosa.
The perfect combination of adventure, gentle exercise and disconnection in the heart of the Mediterranean!
What we will do
We will be met 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Platja d'Aro, Girona. After the welcome, we will receive a detailed explanation of the itinerary and a brief safety briefing where we will be taught the basics of paddling. Then, we will receive all the necessary technical equipment: the kayak (double for adults or triple if required) , the paddle and the mandatory life jacket, ready to take to the water.
Once in the water, we will start the navigation crossing the beautiful beach of Sa Conca to start following the iconic Camino de Ronda between Platja d'Aro and S'Agaró. We will paddle for about 40 minutes surrounded by a spectacular setting of cliffs, whimsical rock formations and incredible natural viewpoints, passing by emblematic corners of the Costa Brava such as the hidden Cala Pedrosa.
The highlight will come when we stop for another 40 minutes to snorkel. Equipped with classic masks or the latest generation of panoramic vision masks, we will dive into crystal clear waters to observe the marine biodiversity. As this is a beautiful rocky area, we will enjoy contemplating the life hidden in the underwater crevices.
After cooling off and enjoying the sea, we will return with the kayaks paddling quietly back to the starting point. Once on the shore, we will return the equipment and thus conclude a fantastic experience of 2 hours in total (including preparations and initial briefing), with a clear mind and the satisfaction of having experienced the Costa Brava from its most authentic side.
