Guided quad tour in Mijas

Got a driving licence? Then it's time to use it for something really fun. In Mijas, on the beautiful Costa del Sol, a quad bike tour awaits you that has nothing to envy from a video game.

Take control and ride through mountainous terrain, over unpaved roads, and past viewpoints overlooking the sea and the village of Mijas. Choose between a 1 or 2 hour tour.

What we will do

The meeting time is 30 minutes before the indicated time at the meeting point in Mijas, Malaga.

We will be met by the guide, who will accompany us throughout the activity. First we will take about 30 minutes to get ready: they will check that we have the necessary documentation, then we will receive our helmet, and then we will be given a brief practical training to learn how to drive the quad, and when we are ready, we will set off for the adventure.

We'll start off through the typical streets of the village of Mijas, with its whitewashed houses and Andalusian atmosphere, before leaving the tarmac behind and heading into the countryside. We will continue along dirt tracks, mountain tracks and hilly trails, surrounded by the wild beauty of Mijas and its surroundings.

Along the way we will stop at viewpoints with spectacular views of the Costa del Sol and the mountains. If there is water in the rivers or streams, we will also come close to see them, and if we are lucky we may come across herds of sheep or horses in the wild. Our guide will explain which part of the locality we are in and which places we can see from each point.

Depending on the option chosen, we will cover about 20 km on the 1 hour route, perfect for beginners, or about 40 km on the 2 hour route, which combines 20% road and 80% off-road trails for a more complete experience.

The activity will have a total duration of 1 or 2 hours of route (depending on the option selected at the time of booking), plus 30 minutes of preparation beforehand.

Who it is aimed at

The driver must be at least 18 years old and hold a type B driving licence.

The passenger must be at least 7 years old and 1.20 metres tall. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

The experience is easy and suitable even for those who are riding a quad for the first time.

The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with serious back problems or cardiovascular conditions .

If you have reduced mobility or use a wheelchair, you can still take part, but you will need to let the organisers know in advance. You will receive the contact details in the email confirming your booking.

Other information

The tour is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 quads.

The organiser has two-seater quads available for a maximum of 10 participants per shift (5 quads). During the tour, driver and passenger can take turns to drive, as long as both are of legal age and have a type B driving licence.

For non-European participants : an international driving licence valid in Spain is recommended.

Free parking is available in the area and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.

Dogs are not allowed during the activity.

Accompanying persons not participating can wait at the meeting point.
