Disconnect from the routine and live an epic expedition through the spectacular reservoirs of the Pyrenees!
Enjoy a 1-hour guided excursion through the most spectacular waterscapes of the Huesca Pyrenees. Depending on the time of year, you will explore the impressive Entremón Canyon and the Grado reservoir or the mystical underwater tower of Mediano. It's a safe, refreshing and historic adventure, ideal for families with children aged 4 and up who want to connect with the wild nature of the Pyrenees.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Aínsa. There we will be welcomed and equipped with everything we need for a perfect navigation: stable kayaks with backrests to take care of our posture, paddles to our measure and safety waistcoats. Before getting our paddles wet, we'll have a short warm-up and technical briefing where we'll learn the tricks of paddling to make our progress through the water smooth, fun and effortless.
Once on the water, our expedition begins. Depending on the season and conditions, we will paddle through the spectacular Entremón Canyon and the Grado reservoir, where we will feel the real scale of nature paddling between imposing cliffs and caves. On other occasions, the route will take us to discover the secrets of the Mediano reservoir and its iconic submerged tower.
As we paddle, we will enjoy the panoramic views of the Peña Montañesa, while our guide tells us the secrets of the geology and history of the flooded valleys. On our way, we will see the flight of birds of prey and explore lonely shores that look like something out of a postcard.
We will feel the freshness of a dip in secret coves, enjoying the calm that only kayaking can offer. Finally, we will return to the shore with the satisfaction of having experienced a unique adventure. The total duration of the day is approximately 1 hour.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is suitable for everyone.
The minimum age is 4 years old. Young children can travel in triple kayaks with two adults.
The use of a life jacket is compulsory for all participants. It is not essential to know how to swim to enjoy the route, but it is required not to be afraid of water.
It is necessary to inform the organisers in advance of the weight and height of the participants in order to adjust the equipment. You will receive the contact details in the confirmation email.
It is not suitable for people with reduced mobility that prevents them from entering the kayak.
Other information
The experience is available from February to November.
The sailing location may vary (Cañón del Entremón, Embalse del Grado or Mediano) depending on the time of year.
The activity requires a minimum of 3 people to take part (except in summer) with a maximum of 10.
The meeting point has free and paid parking and is accessible by bus.
Pets are not allowed in the kayak, but can stay at the meeting point.
It is essential to have a vehicle to get from the office to the starting point.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
