Full description

Sail to the idyllic Isla de la Olla and discover the secrets of a submerged volcano in Altea!

Enjoy a 2-hour guided excursion perfect for unwinding and contemplating the marine biodiversity of the Costa Blanca. This easy level tour is ideal for beginners and families, allowing you to cover the perfect distance to the island with a very relaxed paddle. Combine outdoor exercise with a nice swim stop on a quiet beach, surrounded by a fascinating geological environment under the Alicante sun.

What we will do

We will be met 15 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in the Marina Greenwich Marina in Altea. After introductions, we will receive an initial briefing of about 5 to 10 minutes where we will be explained the basics of paddling, the itinerary and safety rules. Afterwards, we will receive all the necessary technical equipment - the kayak (single, double or triple depending on the booking), the paddle and the life jacket - ready to start the trip.

Once in the water, we'll start sailing out of the port in the direction of the emblematic Olla Island (l'Illeta de l'Olla) . The journey from the coast is an extremely relaxed paddle of just 500 to 800 metres, which will take us between 10 and 15 minutes at a gentle pace that will allow us to contemplate the majestic cliffs of the Costa Blanca from a totally unique perspective.

When we reach the island, we will receive instructions from the instructor to make a very pleasant stop on a quiet beach. There we will take the opportunity to relax, explore the natural environment and enjoy a refreshing swim of about 15 to 20 minutes in the crystal clear waters, disconnecting from the daily rhythm in a safe environment.

We will then head towards the area of the submerged volcanoes, marvelling at the geological secrets hidden beneath the surface of the sea. After contemplating this natural spectacle, we will head straight back to the port facilities with a clear mind and renewed energy after completing a spectacular 2-hour route.
