Full description
To make the most of your day at sea , all you need is a kayak, a paddle and a snorkelling mask.
Spend around 3 hours exploring hidden corners of the coast of Isla Plana, Cartagena. Discover tiny coves and explore incredible caves whilst learning about the local marine flora and fauna with an expert local guide.
What we will do
The guide will meet us on time at the meeting point on Isla Plana. Before setting off on our adventure, we’ll have a brief technical training session and a safety briefing, where we’ll learn paddling manoeuvres, how to turn, and how to get back into the kayak if we fall (or jump) into the water, with the help of some introductory games.
Then we’ll be ready to set off on our journey along the coast. We’ll paddle past coves and caves, adapting the route to the group’s pace and sea conditions, whilst the guide tells us about the surroundings, the local flora and fauna. During the trip, we’ll have time to stop and put on our masks and snorkels to explore the seabed, and even venture into a cave or two.
After completing this comprehensive marine adventure, we’ll return to the starting point. The activity will last approximately 2 to 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages.
Children aged 5 and over can take part, depending on their abilities. Children under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
You must be able to swim.
It is not suitable for people with a disability that prevents them from kayaking.

The tour is available all year round, and the departure is confirmed once a minimum group of 4 participants has been reached.
Please note that the meeting point is at the start of the activity and that there will be no access to changing rooms, showers or lockers.
IMPORTANT: as soon as your booking is confirmed, please contact the guide as soon as possible to complete the activity participation form. The guide will also need to provide you with the exact location of the meeting point. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Self-bailing double kayaks are used for this activity.
Pets are not permitted on this activity.
There is free parking near the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
