Forget about gravity and physical limits for a day; floating a metre and a half above the sea is much more fun.
Enjoy an exhilarating 30-minute private Flyboard session of actual flight time ( lasting 1½ hours in total) at the magnificent Calafat Beach in Tarragona. With constant guidance from your personal instructor, you’ll learn to control the powerful jets of water beneath your feet to maintain your balance in the air.
It’s that simple. All you need to do is take the plunge to break out of your routine and let the propulsion do the rest.
What we will do
You’ll be met around 20 minutes before the scheduled time at the meeting point in Calafat, Tarragona, with everything ready for the adventure to begin. Once you’ve met up with the technical team, you’ll head straight for the sandy beach at Calafat. There, you’ll board a support jet ski which will take you out to the open sea, heading towards a more remote and deeper area to ensure you have a completely clear, private and safe space to take to the air.
You’ll put on the special Flyboard boots and the rest of your safety gear whilst floating in the water, with the instructor’s assistance and direct guidance at all times – they won’t leave your side. As soon as the jet ski starts pumping power to your platform, you’ll begin your one-to-one training session. You’ll practise basic balance to stand upright on the jets of water and aim to reach a height of up to one and a half metres above the surface. If you manage to master your balance with ease and feel agile, the instructor will teach you the ‘dolphin’ technique, a great fun manoeuvre that involves diving headfirst into the water and shooting back up with a powerful burst of speed.
You’ll enjoy around 30 minutes of actual ‘flight’ packed with laughter, splashes and pure adrenaline with your instructor. Once your ride is over, you’ll return to the beach on the jet ski, bringing to a close an exciting experience lasting approximately one and a half hours in total.
Who it is aimed at
This experience is 100% suitable for beginners.
The minimum age is 16. Please note that if you are under 16, you will need to bring a signed authorisation from your parents or legal guardian.
This activity is not permitted for pregnant women or those with reduced mobility.
It is also not recommended if you suffer from any chronic condition affecting your legs or back, due to the physical exertion involved.
Other information
The activity is available every day from May to October.
All trips are subject to weather and sea conditions.
You must be able to swim, as the activity takes place in open water (although you will be provided with a life jacket at all times) .
There is free parking near the meeting point. It is also possible to get there by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
