Feel like the king of cycling conquering the mountains by pedal stroke.
Enjoy a 2-hour guided route through La Herrería Forest, in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. On an e-bike you can pedal effortlessly through oak and chestnut trees until you reach the historic Silla de Felipe II, where the best views of the Sierra de Guadarrama await you.
Treat yourself to a moment of respite amidst history and nature. You can take part with the whole family.
What we will do
The guide will meet us with all the equipment ready 15 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in San Lorenzo del Escorial, Madrid.
Once there, he will give us the electric bike and helmet before giving us a brief introduction to familiarise us with the handling and review the safety rules. Ahead, just time to enjoy the surroundings.
We will start pedalling following the guide and entering the Herrería Forest, a protected area declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. We will ride calmly along paths flanked by oak, maple and chestnut trees, getting away from the hustle and bustle to connect with nature.
We will make a refreshing stop at the Fuente del Seminario fountain before ascending to reach the legendary Silla de Felipe II, a viewpoint steeped in history from where we will have an unbeatable panoramic view of the Sierra de Guadarrama and the monumental complex.
After discovering the secrets hidden in this corner where the monarch supervised the works of his great project, we will start our return. The route will be circular, and we will return to the starting point after about 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children aged 5 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Up to the age of 9, children will ride in tandem with an adult. From the age of 10 they can pedal with their own children's bike and from the age of 15 they will use an adult e-bike.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

The activity takes place all year round from Monday to Friday and departures are confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.

Free parking is available near the meeting point. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport (bus stop or train station less than 15 minutes walk away) .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
