Full description

Swap sea level for Alicante’s most spectacular mountain bends on a long-distance journey that has absolutely everything.

Enjoy a 3½-hour shared adventure at the wheel of a powerful 950cc buggy, setting off from Altea. After tackling an initial off-road section along dirt tracks, you’ll climb winding mountain roads into the heart of the Costa Blanca. You’ll drive alongside the turquoise waters of the Guadalest reservoir, pass through rural villages such as Beniardá and take in the famous medieval village on a perfect route to break out of the daily grind with the accelerator to the floor.

What we will do

Our adventure begins at the exclusive Portosenso Marina in Altea, where we’ll meet 30 minutes before departure for a safety briefing and to familiarise ourselves with the vehicles’ controls. As soon as we set off, we’ll feel the power of our new fleet as we leave the harbour, ready to tackle the longest route in the area.

We’ll leave the tarmac behind to tackle a technical off-road section along dirt tracks between Altea and La Nucía. After leaving the dust of the forest tracks behind us, we’ll return to the road to begin a steady climb towards Polop, where the coastal landscape changes completely and the hairpin bends and panoramic views from the heights begin.

We’ll continue climbing along spectacular mountain roads until we reach the historic setting of Guadalest, one of Spain’s most beautiful medieval villages. There, we’ll turn off to ride along the narrow path that skirts its imposing turquoise reservoir, passing by the dam to enjoy picture-perfect views between the water and the sheer rock faces. After passing through the small rural hamlet of Beniardá, we’ll begin the return journey.

During the descent from the mountains, we’ll make a strategic stop to stretch our legs, capture the views of the mountains and enjoy a refreshing drink. The trip will conclude by passing through Callosa de Ensarriá on a comfortable return journey along tarmac roads back to the starting point, totalling three and a half hours of pure driving and contrasting scenery along the Costa Blanca.
