The sea is calling you and you don't need experience to respond: share the fun in a group and master your first wave.
Dare with this surf class in Isla Canela, designed to be enjoyed together with other surf enthusiasts. You'll learn to keep your balance and master the foam on the board, always backed up by qualified instructors and professional lifeguards. A 2-hour session where the orderly currents will become your best ally to get you started safely.
Jump into the water, the Atlantic is waiting for you!
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes in advance at the meeting point on Isla Canela, Huelva. There we will be met by the instructors, we will introduce ourselves and we will be given all the necessary equipment: the wetsuit and the surfboard adapted to our size. With everything ready, we will walk together towards the sand of Isla Canela Beach, feeling the sea breeze just before starting the adventure.
Once on the shore, we will dedicate the first 15 minutes to a theoretical and practical lesson on the sand. We will learn how to interpret the currents and the fundamental safety rules to move with confidence. In addition, we will train the paddling technique, the positioning on the board and the key movements to perform the pop-up. We will also stretch and warm up with breathing exercises to activate the body before entering the sea.
And straight into the water! We will look for small wave conditions in an area sheltered by a breakwater and sandy shallows, the ideal setting to learn safely. The instructor will guide and help us as we try to catch our first foam and waves. We will practice basic paddling and turns, and we will work on correcting our style to learn how to ride the waves and pick up speed on the wall. At all times we will be accompanied by an instructor in groups of maximum 8 students.
After 2 hours of pure fun, we will leave the sea to recover our strength and discuss the best moves of the day. At the end, we will return with the satisfaction of having overcome the challenge and enjoyed an unforgettable experience on the Atlantic coast.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for all ages. No previous experience is required.
The minimum age to participate is 6 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult.
It is compulsory to know how to swim to be able to do the activity in the sea safely.
The activity is not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Other information
The activity is available every day from Easter until mid-September.
Shifts are available from 10: 00 to 18: 00.
The group will have a maximum of 8 students per instructor, guaranteeing a safe and quality service.
Free parking is available nearby.
Public transport is easily accessible as there are bus routes nearby.
Public showers and toilets are available near the facilities.
Pets are not allowed in the beach area.
Accompanying persons are welcome to stay on the sand and enjoy the environment during the class.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
