Full description

Can you imagine climbing a sheer rock face with the Mediterranean Sea at your feet?

Say goodbye to the daily grind and switch to adventure mode! In this thrilling 4- to 7-hour experience in Mallorca — the world’s birthplace of psicobloc — your hands will search for holds on the limestone as you defy gravity without ropes or harnesses; here, the sea will be yo r safety net. It’s a genuine shared challenge designed for those keen to experience intense thrills in complete safety, with the constant support of qualified guides who’ll tailor the route to suit you, so all you have to worry about is enjoying yourself.

What we will do

We’ll meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Felanitx, Mallorca, to kick off our adventure; the exact location may vary depending on the participants’ ability and the conditions on the day. There we’ll meet our qualified guide, who’ll teach us the technical skills needed to climb efficiently and fall into the sea in complete safety (if necessary) . After fitting our personal kit (helmet and climbing shoes), we’ll set off on a 15- to 30-minute approach walk along the coastline.

We’ll arrive at the imposing limestone cliffs, ready to become one with the rock and the salt water. During the session, we’ll defy gravity by climbing without ropes or harnesses, tailoring the route to each person’s ability: from technical slabs perfect for beginners to overhangs with holes and dihedrals. With every step upwards, we’ll feel pure adrenaline coursing through our bodies as we watch the waves crash against the island’s untamed cliffs.

This is where the magic of this discipline lies: we’ll use the sea as our giant safety mat. With the instructor’s guidance, we’ll gain height centimetre by centimetre up the rock and, when our strength fails, we’ll launch ourselves into the deep water in a thrilling and liberating free fall. Should the sea be too rough to swim, the action doesn’t stop: we’ll use the group’s equipment to enjoy a 100% safe, traditional roped climbing session.

At the end, we’ll walk back to the starting point with the adrenaline still coursing through our veins after having conquered the world’s cradle of psicobloc. This brings to a close an epic day which, including the briefing, transfers and the climbing itself, will take between 4 and 7 hours in total, with the session being shorter for beginners’ groups.
