This is your gateway to the underwater world.
On the Marina del Este beach on the Costa del Sol, your first diving experience awaits you. You will learn the basics of scuba diving and dive 1 or 2 times guided by an instructor to a depth of up to 12 metres.
An unforgettable morning that will also bring you one step closer to getting your PADI certification. Ready to discover what it feels like to breathe underwater?
What we will do
The appointment will be at the Marina del Este beach, on the Costa del Sol. The instructor will be waiting for us there to accompany us on our first contact with diving.
We will start with a theoretical introduction to the essential concepts for safe diving: how to use the equipment, how to move around underwater and what rules we must follow. This is a 30 minute class that will also allow us to validate the experience as the first class of the PADI Open Water Diver course.
Afterwards, fully equipped, we will move on to a short practical session on the shore to familiarise ourselves with the basic sensations and techniques. When we're ready, the most awaited moment will come: we'll continue into the water to experience our first dive in the sea, with a maximum depth of between 6 and 12 metres.
Guided at all times by the instructor, we will be able to admire the underwater beauty of the surroundings of Maro-Cerro Gordo. For about 45 minutes we will enjoy the seabed among shoals of fish, octopus, moray eels, conger eels. .. And we will experience the freedom of breathing underwater.
If we choose the option with 2 dives, we will be able to return to the surface to rest, analyse possible mistakes and change the tank before diving for the second round.
The experience will last between 2. 5 and 4 hours, depending on the number of dives you choose.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children aged 10 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a legal guardian, who will sign the documentation. Although it is not compulsory, it is advisable for a responsible adult to do the experience with them.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. People who have undergone surgery in the last 12 months, have respiratory problems, diabetes, hypertension or other illnesses that require daily medication are not allowed to participate.It is necessary to fill in a health condition form before taking part in the activity.
It is not possible to fly within 18 hours of a dive.

The experience can be done all year round, even with a single participant.
Please contact the instructor before the activity to communicate your weight, height and shoe size. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email. If you already have your own equipment and it is suitable for the experience, you will be able to use it.
There are no changing rooms or lockers on the beach . We advise you to bring only the essentials, as you will need to leave valuables in the car.
Non-participating companions may wait on the beach, but dogs are not allowed on the beach.
Both free and paid public parking is available in the vicinity of the beach (during the summer it is more difficult to find free parking) . The area is difficult to reach by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
