Enjoy a 2-hour experience in the heart of the Anaga Massif, where you can become a farmer for a day , working the land with your own hands. To round off the morning, savour a Canarian Km 0 feast under a porch with a view, with a menu that includes everything from homemade guacamole and baked cheese with honey to a traditional roast leg with wrinkled potatoes and local wine.
What we will do
We will meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the farm located in the Tahodio Valley, a haven of peace hidden in the Anaga Rural Park. There, amidst the rustle of the leaves and the pure air of the massif, we will be warmly welcomed into a lifestyle where the land sets the pace. After learning about the history of the family that cares for these lands, we will put on our gloves, take up our scissors, and become farmers for a day, learning the art of pampering the trees and harvesting with our hands the avocados and limes that the sun has left at the right point.
We will walk through the plantation discovering the secrets of the endemic plants and their medicinal uses, while we watch from afar the beehives that will give us the honey. It will be the ideal moment to capture unique photos among the fruit trees before the aroma of the kitchen begins to call out to us. Once the work in the field is finished, we will take refuge in an open porch to enjoy a Km 0 lunch, where time stands still among high tables and spectacular views.
We will enjoy a feast that tastes like Canarian tradition, accompanied by a glass of local wine, beer or soft drinks. We will start by sharing bites of chorizo from Teror, almogrote and grilled cheese with honey and red mojo. We will continue with the freshness of a tomato and avocado salad, a delicious homemade guacamole and a comforting chickpea stew with bacon. The finishing touch will be a wood-fired roast leg with wrinkled potatoes, a perfect end to a 2-hour experience designed to reconnect with the authentic.

Children of all ages are welcome; if you bring a baby, we recommend that you use a baby carrier, as the terrain does not allow the use of pushchairs.
Minors must always be accompanied by an adult.
Due to the orography of the agricultural terrain, the activity is not accessible for people in wheelchairs or with severe reduced mobility.

The experience takes place all year round, from Wednesday to Sunday, at 13: 00.
The group is small, with a maximum of 12 people, to ensure a close and personal treatment.
The meeting point has a free car park and can be easily reached by minibus from Santa Cruz, which is only 5 minutes away.
In case of dietary preferences it will be necessary to contact the organisers in advance. Vegetarian options are available, but not for coeliacs. You will receive contact details in the confirmation email.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
