Full description
Imagine that night falls and you have to spend it in the middle of the forest without Wi-Fi. .. and with the whole family.
Enjoy a private experience of approximately 5 and a half hours on the outskirts of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park, where you will learn to light fires, build shelters and look for water like real explorers.
An experience suitable for everyone and designed to be enjoyed as a family.
What we will do
The appointment will be 10 minutes before the agreed time, at the meeting point in Escalona, Huesca. Your guide will be waiting for you there, who will accompany you during the whole experience and will adapt it to your pace and curiosity. After a brief introduction and a review of the equipment, you will get into the 4x4 and head off along a mountain track. As the road gets wilder and the forest surrounds you, you will know that you are leaving the comfort of the known world behind. In just 30 minutes you will have reached the edge of the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park. .. and that's where the real adventure begins.
Once there, your guide, a mountain professional with survival training, will set you a challenge: what would happen if you had to spend the night in the middle of the forest? From then on, you will have to think, decide and act like a real team of survivors. You will learn to analyse the environment, recognise the natural resources available and work together to overcome each situation.
You will put into practice the three keys to survival: shelter, water and fire. And you will do this by building your own shelter with whatever the forest has to offer. You will learn different ways of lighting a fire, from the most traditional ones, such as wood friction, to the most ingenious ones, using batteries. You will discover how to find and filter water even when it hasn't rained for days, and you will also learn how to find your way around without GPS, to improvise a first aid kit and to understand what is really important when everything depends on you.
You will live a participative and fun day, ideal for families who want to enjoy nature, learn how to deal with the unexpected and share a unique experience in the Pyrenees.
The total duration of the activity, including preparations, is approximately 5 and a half hours.
