Water, nature and adventure with the family!
The Aragón river canyon in the Canfranc area is perfect for beginners or to share a fun experience with the little ones. You will advance along the riverbed between corridors carved into the rock, with jumps, natural slides and a final 7-metre abseil that will put the perfect finishing touch to the adventure.

What we will do
We will have to be on time at the meeting point in Canfranc-Estación. From there, we will follow the guide in our private car to a car park near the end of the Aragón river ravine.
The guide will give us the technical material and will help us to adjust the equipment while we solve the first doubts. After a short approach of about 10 minutes, we will reach the beginning of the canyon, where we will attend a more complete briefing on safety, progression and abseiling.
And then we're ready to go into the depths of the canyon! The route is ideal for beginners to canyoning and for the whole family to enjoy. We will walk along the course of the Aragon River, advancing through spectacular corridors sculpted by the water over the centuries. We will find small slides, jumps and a final abseil of 7 metres. Most of the obstacles will be optional, so the activity will be 100% accessible for the whole family.
A safe and fun experience to enjoy the natural environment of the Pyrenees, perfect for a first contact with canyoning .
The activity will have a total duration of about 3 hours and a half, with approximately 2 hours of canyoning.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is perfect as an introduction to canyoning and can be done from the age of 6 years old.
Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is advisable to know how to swim.
Not recommended for pregnant women.
It is not an accessible activity for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity takes place from May to September. It is confirmed with a minimum number of 3 participants.
You will not have changing rooms or a place to leave personal belongings, which you will have to leave in your car (the guide can keep the key) .
Non-participating companions may walk around the valley or wait in the parking area near the end of the ravine. Dogs may be kept on a lead.
If you want a souvenir of the experience you can hire a photo and video service with the guide (extra cost) , by contacting him in advance. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Free parking is available both around the meeting point and in the canyon area. It is not possible to travel by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is moderate. You get a full refund if you cancel within 8 days from the activity start date. Within 7 and 5 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
