Who needs a spa day when you can find peace and tranquillity by spending time with horses and raising a glass of fine wine in Barcelona?
Combine a 1½-hour wellness experience with horses and a guided tour with wine tasting lasting approximately 2 hours and 45 minutes at the award-winning Miquel Jané winery. A comprehensive package that brings together nature, emotional connection and wine tourism all in a single morning.
What we will do
We’ll meet 10 minutes before the agreed time at the meeting point in Castellví de la Marca, right in the heart of the Alt Penedès. This is where a unique day will begin, combining wellbeing, bonding with animals and wine tourism in a setting surrounded by nature.
We’ll start the activity at 09: 00 by meeting the team of guides , before moving on to the Equine Alchemy experience with the horses. For approximately an hour and a half, we’ll take part in ground-based activities focused on mindful presence, emotional balance and calm. We’ll learn to tune into the animals’ serenity, stroking them and sharing a comforting space to free ourselves from everyday stress.
After this session with our four-legged friends, we’ll travel in our own vehicle (a journey of around 20 minutes) to the Miquel Jané Winery, located in Guardiola de Font-Rubí, where, at 11. 00 am, we’ll continue with the wine-tasting experience.
We’ll begin our walk through the vineyard with a lesson in viticulture to understand how the soil, climate and tradition influence the character of the Penedès. Afterwards, we’ll head into the winery to discover the secrets of winemaking from the experts. Finally, we’ll enjoy the highlight of the day: a guided tasting of four wines (white, rosé, red and cava) paired with an aperitif of regional specialities. The entire visit to the winery lasts 2 hours and 45 minutes.
We’ll round off the day feeling re-energised by the perfect combination of inner peace, culture and fine wine. In total, we’ll spend around four and a half hours unwinding, learning and indulging all five senses.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is suitable for all ages; no previous experience with horses is required.
There is no age limit for the horse-riding experience; children may take part under adult supervision. For the wine tasting, the recommended minimum age is 18. However, younger children may take part if accompanied by a responsible adult.
The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users due to the uneven natural terrain.

The activity is available all year round at weekends ( it starts at 09: 00 with the horses and continues at 11: 00 at the winery) .
Tours are organised for groups of between 2 and 40 people .
The entire activity with the horses takes place on foot (you do not ride them) .
The meeting point has free parking. It is not possible to get there by public transport.
Options are available for food intolerances with the wine cellar’s appetiser (please let us know when making your booking) .

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
