Take a deep breath, this adventure will be LEGENDARY.
Dare to descend the Otonel ravine, in the heart of the Júcar river. It is an epic adventure in the greenest and wildest area of the province of Valencia, designed for those seeking strong emotions and legendary landscapes.
Take up the challenge: the great waterfall is waiting for you.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Otonel, in the interior of the province of Valencia. We will arrive 10 minutes before the booking time to meet the guide, who will give us the equipment and give us an introductory and safety talk.
We will organise ourselves with the vehicles to reach the top of the canyon. Once at the head of the canyon, after a thorough check of the equipment, we will receive the technical and safety explanations necessary for the progression inside the canyon. It will be time to embark on an epic adventure.
We will enter the riverbed to overcome the first part of the route, made up of a series of 4 rappels ( up to 20 metres) and a slide. The main attraction is the impressive Chorrador de Otonel: a 60-metre waterfall that will leave you breathless, but which you will overcome following the guide's instructions. We must bear in mind that the only way to avoid this great abseil is to abandon the descent and leave the ravine.
We will continue our adventure overcoming some more abseils and slides until we reach the exit of the canyon. After approximately 3 hours of intense descent surrounded by the lushest vegetation of the community, we will have overcome the challenge.
The whole experience will last about 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
It is not strictly necessary to have experience in canyoning, but it is necessary to be an athletic person in good physical shape.
You can participate from the age of 12 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight is 120 kg.
It is necessary to know how to swim.
The experience is not suitable for pregnant women or people with motor disabilities.

The experience is available all year round, and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Please note that the guide will meet you in the vicinity of the canyon, so there are no changing rooms or lockers available.
Non-participating companions, even if they have pets, can wait on the river beach or go on one of the hiking trails in the area.
Free parking is available at the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport. The organiser offers an extra transfer service.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
