Ready to feel like a farmer for a day?
Live an unforgettable experience with the whole family on a farm in Fondos de Vega, like real farmers. You will meet the animals and take part in the day-to-day tasks, such as feeding and caring for them. In addition, the children will take home a hen's egg and pure goat's milk as a souvenir. It will be about 2 hours full of laughter, learning and lots of nature.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point at the farm of Fondos de Vega, in Degaña, where we will be welcomed and explained how day to day life works in this rural environment. From the very first moment, the hosts will accompany us to show us around the farm and introduce us to all the animals.
During the visit we will meet native Asturian animals such as chickens, goats, mares and other inhabitants of the farm. The children (and adults too) will be able to touch them, feed them and actively participate in some of the tasks: milking a goat, collecting eggs or even riding the mare, always under supervision.
The experience is close, participatory and very quiet, designed for the little ones to learn how animals are cared for and where farm products come from. Throughout the visit we will be able to take photos and videos to take home a nice souvenir.
As a final detail, each child will receive a hen's egg and the family will take away a bottle of goat's milk, closing the experience with an authentic taste of the rural world.
The visit lasts approximately 2 hours , spent between laughter, learning and nature.

The experience takes place from Monday to Sunday, from the beginning of Easter until September.
The experience takes place with a minimum of 1 family (2 adults and up to 3 children) and a maximum of 3 families per shift.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. It is not recommended to arrive by public transport.
Pets are not allowed during the experience.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
