Have you already done your first dive and want to go one step further?
With the Basic Diver experience near Almeria you can dive to a depth of 12 metres, learn the basics of scuba diving and obtain a certificate valid for 6 months.
In the crystal clear waters of Playa del Palmer, accompanied by a qualified instructor, you will explore the underwater world and experience all its magic.
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Aguadulce (Almeria). There the instructor will be waiting for us, who will accompany us during the whole experience.
After a short transfer by van to the Palmer Beach, we will start with a briefing of about 15-20 minutes: we will talk about safety rules, breathing underwater and we will be taught how to use the equipment.
At this point, we will put on the wetsuit and the rest of the equipment and enter the water from the shore. The dive will last between 35 and 45 minutes and will take us to a depth of 12 metres, under the constant supervision of the instructor.
We will explore the sandy and rocky seabed of the area, home to many Mediterranean species such as groupers, octopus, triggerfish, wrasse and cuttlefish.
At the end of the experience, we will relax on the beach with a toast and receive the Basic Diver certificate, valid for 6 months and usable for further training, with a discount on the Open Water course.
The total duration of the experience is 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 11 and over; minors may participate with a signed authorisation.
The activity is not permitted for pregnant women, people with heart, respiratory, hearing or mobility problems.
No certification or licence is required and it is ideal for beginners.
It is not recommended to dive in the 24 hours prior to a flight.

The experience is available all year round and is confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Free parking is available in the area and the meeting point is accessible by public transport.
Changing rooms are available, but there are no showers.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
