The great treasures hidden in the Atlantic lie at the bottom... and you can reach them.
A free dive among sunken ships awaits you in Puerto del Carmen, at a depth of between 12 and 20 metres. An experience designed for certified freedivers who are looking for something more: underwater history, marine life in its purest form and the magic of diving with only your own body.
An hour and a half of guided underwater adventure, in which each descent will be a new discovery. Are you coming down to explore?
What we will do
The appointment is at the meeting point in Puerto del Carmen, 10 minutes before the booking time. The instructor will be waiting for us there and will guide us through the whole dive.
We will start with a briefing to get to know the route of the day, adapted to the sea conditions and currents. They will explain where to descend and ascend, how to access the wreck area and how to orientate ourselves during the activity. Once equipped, we will walk to the nearby Black Beach, from where we will enter the water.
We will swim about 200 metres until we reach a buoy in the area where the wrecks are located, located between 12 and 20 metres deep. We will descend in apnoea, each one at their own pace and with the security of always being supervised. We will be able to explore the wrecks and observe the typical marine fauna of the area: barracudas, angel sharks and rays, among other species.
The activity has a total duration of 1 hour and a half, with up to 75 minutes in the water.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from the age of 16 years and it is necessary to have a certification of at least level 1 freediving.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult who can sign the documentation and authorisation for the activity.
A certificate of good health must be completed. The experience is not suitable for people with motor disabilities, cardiovascular, respiratory or neurological problems or who have undergone surgery in the last 12 months. It is also not possible to take part in the activity if you have an ongoing infection or illness, or if you are taking any medication that may affect your state of consciousness or performance. If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, it is advisable to consult a doctor beforehand and, in any case, inform the instructor.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and can be done individually or in groups of up to 4 people.
To do the activity you need to have diving insurance, which is not included in the price. If you need it, you can take out insurance valid for 3 days at the centre itself for 20 euros.
You will have to inform the instructor in advance of your foot size, weight and height. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
If you have your own equipment, you can also use it.
At the meeting point there are changing rooms with showers. There are also lockers that can be used by inserting 1 euro. The facilities also include a swimming pool, sauna and jacuzzi.
Accompanying persons not taking part in the activity can wait in the Playa Chica area or access the facilities and use all the services by paying a fee of 15 euros/person.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
