A white blanket and the crunching of the snow under the snowshoes as the only sound in the silence of the mountain.
This snowshoeing excursion in Huesca invites you to discover the winter mountain from the inside. You will learn to walk on snow, accompanied by an expert guide, on routes adapted to all levels and surrounded by landscapes that seem to be taken out of a fairy tale.
More than 3 hours to breathe fresh air, enjoy the calm and let yourself be hypnotised by the beauty of the Pyrenean winter.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point indicated by the guide, in Partacua or Portalet . The guide will meet us there to give us the equipment (snowshoes and poles) and briefly explain how to walk on the snow and what the route will be.
In about 10 minutes we will have learnt the basic tricks to enjoy the experience and we will be ready for the adventure . We will start the guided route through some of the most impressive landscapes of the Tena Valley and the Aragonese Pyrenees. We will learn how to progress in snowy terrain while enjoying the silence and calm of the surroundings.
The guide will choose the most suitable route for the level of the group, always guaranteeing a safe, comfortable and adapted experience for each participant.
During the excursion we will make several stops to rest, admire the scenery or take photographs of this dreamlike environment. A perfect opportunity to discover the pleasure of walking on virgin snow and feel the serenity of winter at its best.
The total duration of the experience will be about 3 hours and a half, including stops.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and children from 6 years of age can participate. Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
This activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
It is necessary to inform the guide in advance of the presence of children or people with special physical conditions. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

Other information
The activity is available approximately from December to April. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and may be subject to variations.
Important: the exact area will be decided by the guide the days before the experience depending on the snow conditions. If the snow conditions do not allow the activity to be carried out in the Partacua area, it will be necessary to travel to Portalet.
Dogs can be taken on a lead as long as the activity takes place on the Spanish side of the Pyrenees, as it is completely forbidden on French territory. The guide will be able to give you more information as soon as the route has been decided.
Accompanying persons who are not taking part can wait near the meeting point, which will be in the vicinity of a village or ski resort.
Free parking is available near the meeting point. The area will not be accessible by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
