Winter transforms the Aragonese Pyrenees into a fairytale place.
With this snowshoeing excursion in Ordesa you will discover all the charm of the area with a route adapted to your group. Between 2 and 8 km of pure winter nature, without complicated steps or steep slopes.
Silent forests, white mountains and a landscape that seems to have stopped in time. With a pair of snowshoes you will be able to enter this unique scenery.
What we will do
The appointment with the guide will be at the indicated time at the Torla offices. There we will check in, collect the necessary equipment and organise the car journey to the chosen area for the route, which will depend on the weather conditions of the day.
Once the snowshoes are on, we will start walking through the magical winter landscapes of Ordesa. The route will be adapted to the group: with quiet walks and small ascents, always with the charm of the snowy forests and without compromising steps. We will cover between 2 and 8 km, depending on our pace, with gentle slopes and a maximum altitude of around 1,800 metres.
Along the way there will be time to enjoy the breathtaking views, listen to the guide's explanations and feel the magic of winter in the Ordesa y Monte Perdido National Park.
The whole activity has a total duration of 3 hours, of which between 2 and 2 and a half hours will be spent on the route.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for children aged 4 and over and no experience is necessary.
Minors need an authorisation signed by a legal guardian to participate.
The activityis not recommended for pregnant women and people with mobility problems.
It will be necessary to inform the guide in advance about the characteristics of the group. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity is available from December to March and is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 participants is reached.
Important: snow tyres or chains are required in the car.
Sunglasses or snow goggles with a minimum protection level of 3 are recommended .
It is not possible to participate with dogs.
During the activity the guide will take photos that will be shared with you in a Google Drive folder.
Free public parking is available at the meeting point and in the vicinity of the canyon. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

- Waterproof hiking boots, gaiters and synthetic socks

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
