Full description
Sierra Nevada is pure magic. And walking on a blanket of white, you can discover it from the inside.
Walk along snowy trails, silent forests and frozen lagoons on this snowshoeing excursion. Disconnect from routine and enjoy the winter in the heart of Granada, accompanied by an expert guide and with the peaks of Mulhacén and Veleta as a backdrop.
3 hours to experience the mountain in a different way: step by step, on the snow and surrounded by the grandeur of the Sierra Nevada National Park.
What we will do
The guide will be waiting for us at the meeting point in Monachil, Granada, 30 minutes before the booking time. We will start with the delivery of the equipment (snowshoes and poles) and a briefing to explain how the activity will be carried out and how to walk safely on the snow.
Once everything is ready, we will start the route from the meeting point or a nearby access. We will walk along snowy trails on a route of approximately 6 km, without too much slope. The itinerary will be adapted to the level of the group and does not include exposed steps, so there will be no problem if someone suffers from vertigo.
We will gain confidence and learn to move with the snowshoes on the snow, which will allow us to walk at a good pace. We will savour the tranquillity of winter in the mountains, while exploring snowy forests and frozen lakes under the watchful eye of the impressive peaks of the Sierra Nevada National Park, such as the Mulhacen and the Veleta.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people who have recently suffered injuries.
Not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available approximately from December to April. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and may be subject to variations. The exact area will be decided by the guide depending on the snow conditions.
Dogs can be taken on a leash, but it will be necessary to inform the guide beforehand. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Those accompanying people who do not take part can wait at the Navacerrada ski resort, which has different services.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. During the ski season it can be difficult to find parking spaces, so it is advisable to arrive well in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
