When the sun goes down, the snow in the Sierra de Guadarrama shines with a different light. Silence fills everything and the moon becomes our guide.
Discover it on a guided route with snowshoes, walking through forests and snowy slopes, discovering the mountain in its quietest and most mysterious version. Every step crunches, every lunar sparkle transforms the landscape into something unreal.
3 hours to experience the night in the mountains of Madrid in a different way: magical, serene and completely unforgettable.
What we will do
The meeting point in the Sierra de Guadarrama (Navacerrada pass or Cotos pass, depending on the snow conditions) is 30 minutes before the booking time. There we will be met by the guide, who will give us our snowshoes and poles and explain how to use them correctly before we head off into the mountains.
With the moon as our companion, we will start walking along snow-covered trails on a route designed for all levels. We will learn the basic techniques of snowshoeing and we will discover how the Sierra de Guadarrama changes when night falls: the silence, the glow of the white mantle and the shadows of the forest create an almost magical atmosphere.
During the route we will make stops to rest, enjoy the night views and watch how the moonlight illuminates the landscape. In the second part of the route we will continue sliding down gentle slopes until we return to the starting point, with the sensation of having experienced a unique night in the mountains.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children aged 10 and over.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people who have recently suffered injuries.
It is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available approximately from December to March. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and could be subject to variations.
Important: if the snow conditions are not suitable in Navacerrada, the activity will take place in the Cotos pass. The exact area will be decided by the guide and will be communicated to you the day before.
The departure is confirmed when a minimum group of 10 people is reached.
During the route the guide will be taking photos that you will receive by e-mail or message.
It is not possible to participate with dogs.
Accompanying persons who do not participate can wait near the meeting point, which has different services.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. During the ski season it can be difficult to find parking spaces, so it is advisable to arrive well in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
