Under the snow, the Catalan Pyrenees are transformed into a silent and magical setting.
This snowshoeing excursion in Espot will allow you to explore it without limits. Accompanied by an expert guide, you will climb to an altitude of 2, 400 metres. You will walk through snow-covered landscapes while learning about the fauna and geology of the area.
4 hours to disconnect from the world and let yourself be enveloped by the calm of the Pyrenean winter.
What we will do
The appointment is 10 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Espot, Lleida. There we will be met by the guide, who will give us our snowshoes and poles and explain the basic notions for enjoying the route in complete safety.
Once the group has gathered together, we will go up by chairlift to the 2000 m elevation, the starting point of our snowshoeing excursion through the peripheral area of the National Park of Aigüestortes i Estany de Sant Maurici. Along the route, which is between 5 and 7 km long, we will climb some 400 metres up to an altitude of 2, 400 metres, surrounded by magical landscapes.
Along the way, the guide will explain interesting facts about the flora, fauna and geology of the area. We will make several stops to rest, enjoy the views and soak up the beauty of this place. The route will be adapted to the level of the group so that each participant can enjoy the experience to the maximum.
At the end, we will descend again by chairlift to the base of the slopes, with the sensation of having explored an inaccessible corner of the Catalan Pyrenees .
The activity will last approximately 4 hours in total, of which between 2 and 3 hours will be spent walking.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and you can participate from the age of 9-10 years.
The snowshoes can be adapted to size 49 feet.
The route is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The activity is available approximately from December until Easter. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and may be subject to change.
Departure is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached .
The route is pet-friendly, so you can take your dog with you if it is on a leash. Important: the dog cannot go up the chairlift, so you can take it on the condition that you walk the distance to the starting point of the excursion (about 500 metres of difference in altitude) .
Those accompanying people who do not take part can wait at the Espot ski resort.
There is free parking near the meeting point and it is also possible to get there by public transport .

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
