Moonlight, silence, snow and mountains.
Follow the trail of silver light between trails and snowy slopes on this night-time snowshoeing route in the Sierra Nevada. Your guide will lead you through the mountains while the landscape is tinged with cold reflections and the Mulhacén and the Veleta are outlined on the horizon.
3 hours to discover the night of the Sierra Nevada National Park. It will be absolutely unforgettable.
What we will do
The appointment is 30 minutes before the booking time at the meeting point in Monachil, Granada, the starting point of our night hike in the Sierra Nevada. The mountain guide will be waiting for us there, who will give us the necessary equipment (snowshoes and poles) and explain how to use them safely before starting the adventure.
With the moon as our companion and the silence of the mountain as our soundtrack, we will start walking on the snow. The guide will lead us along snowy paths and trails on a carefully studied route of about 6 kilometres with very little gradient. Along the way, the silvery moonlight will transform the landscape and the crunching of snowshoes will mark the rhythm of the night in the Sierra Nevada National Park.
Our objective will be to reach a place from where we can enjoy the night views and contemplate the silhouette of the Mulhacén or the Veleta. We will take a break to rest, have a bite to eat and contemplate the spectacle before starting the return journey. The excursion is carried out in safe and controlled conditions, designed to be enjoyed without haste and to let yourself be carried away by the magic of the winter moon.
The total duration of the experience is approximately 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
No experience is necessary and participation is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not recommended for pregnant women and people who have recently suffered injuries.
Not accessible for people with motor disabilities.
Other information
The activity is available approximately from December to April. Please note that this is a weather-dependent experience and could be subject to variations. The exact area will be decided by the guide depending on the snow conditions.
Dogs can be taken on a leash, but it will be necessary to inform the guide beforehand. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Those accompanying people who do not take part can wait at the Navacerrada ski resort, which has different services.
Free parking is available at the meeting point. During the ski season it can be difficult to find parking spaces, so it is advisable to arrive well in advance.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
