Direct ticket to the heart of the Sierra Calderona.
Dare to go caving in Sima K28, in the Valencian municipality of Serra. Guided by an expert speleologist, you will enter a traverse with a 50-metre drop. You will experience the thrill of abseiling, test your agility in crawls and enjoy surprising spaces such as the "organ room".
Between 2 and 3 hours to discover the secrets hidden in the bowels of the earth. A perfect opportunity to embark on your first underground adventure.
What we will do
The meeting point is in Serra, Valencia. The caving guide will be waiting for us to start the activity with a 20-minute preparation, during which we will put on the equipment and receive a safety briefing.
With everything ready, we will approach the K28 chasm, whose entrance is just off the road. To enter the bowels of the Sierra Calderona, we will descend with the help of a rope. From there, we will experience an underground crossing in which we will go through some 50 metres of unevenness between abseiling, crawls and a stretch of easy climbing.
Some steps will test our agility. As a reward, after some narrow stretches, we will enter spacious and surprising rooms, such as the so-called "organ room", where the rock becomes a spectacle of shapes and where numerous bats live.
Throughout the tour we will be accompanied by our guide, who will teach us the techniques of progression and help us to enjoy the adventure safely. After leaving the cave, a path will take us back to the car park in just 5 minutes.
The total duration of the experience is between 2 and 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from the age of 8 and no experience is necessary.
Minors must have an authorisation signed by a legal guardian and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
The maximum weight is 100 kg for women and 120 kg for men.
This activity is not suitable for people with excessive vertigo or claustrophobia.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women beyond the first trimester. It is also not recommended for people with mobility problems or recent injuries. We advise you to contact your doctor if you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity and to inform the guide of any pathology. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.

The activity can be done all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 3 people.
A few days before the activity you will receive the exact location of the meeting point.
There is no area in the surrounding area for non-participating companions, who will have to wait in the village of Serra.
A transfer service is offered from Valencia, to be contracted directly with the organiser once the booking has been confirmed.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.
