Full description
Ready to immerse yourself in a true paradise of marine biodiversity?
Set off to explore the Medes Islands on a 2. 5 hour eco-snorkelling excursion designed to respect the environment as much as possible. Forget the stress, get on board the boat and swim at the surface surrounded by majestic groupers, barracudas and Posidonia meadows. Let yourself be guided by accredited instructors in a sustainable adventure free of unnecessary plastics that will connect you with the wildest and purest Mediterranean.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in L'Estartit, Girona, to start this sustainable adventure. After a welcome, the team will provide us with all the material. Once we are all ready, we will get on board the boat to enjoy a beautiful sea crossing of about 2 kilometres towards the majestic Medes Islands, contemplating the beauty of the emerging cliffs as we approach the dive site.
When we arrive at the anchoring place, the guides accredited by the Natural Park will explain the rules of the activity through a talk focused on sustainability and environmental awareness. We will learn about the immense ecological value of this protected area and how to snorkel on the surface in a respectful way, guaranteeing a minimum impact on the environment thanks to a philosophy with less plastic.
With clear guidelines, we will slide into the water and swim for 50 unforgettable minutes with the instructor, who will dive with us. We will observe an exceptional biodiversity made up of impressive groupers, barracudas, sea bass, sea bream, sea urchins and extensive Posidonia oceanica meadows in amazingly clear water. At the end of the swim, we'll return to the boat to sail back to the port of L'Estartit, where we'll be able to get our sea water to close a perfect day.
In total, we will enjoy a 2 and a half hour experience of pure connection, learning and respect for the marine ecosystem.
