In the Tesoro canyon you will enjoy one of the most spectacular dry descents in the province. You'll find steep sections, easy skills and three flying abseils - up to 40 metres long - with incredible views of the Turia canyon and the beautiful village of Chulilla.
An intense experience with the help of an expert guide to get you started in rope descents. Do you dare to fly?
What we will do
We will meet at the meeting point in Chulilla, Valencia, where we will be met by the guide. From there we will drive a few minutes by car to the point where we will park and receive our equipment.
While we get equipped, the guide will begin to explain how the activity will develop, which will start with an approach on foot of about 30 minutes. The stretch will be our first test (but we are not going to give up so soon), as we will have to climb the 120 metres of slope that will separate us from the entrance of the ravine.
The Tesoro canyon is a dry descent of great natural beauty, ideal for beginners to the world of abseiling. After completing the briefing on rope descent techniques, we will begin with a few skills and a first short abseil with a flying finish, perfect for gaining confidence. From the start, we will enjoy spectacular views of the Turia canyon and the village of Chulilla.
The second section will take us to one of the highlights of the activity: a spectacular 40-metre high abseil that flies over the landscape (vertigo, I'm not afraid). We will continue descending among rock formations and stepped sections until we reach the last abseil, also 40 metres long, located right above the Turia river. In the final section, we will pass next to a Roman aqueduct before returning to the starting point along a comfortable path.
The total duration of the activity will be between 3 and 4 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is open to children from the age of 8 years old.
Minors must have an authorisation signed by a legal guardian and must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Important: the activity is not suitable for people with vertigo.
The maximum weight is 100 kg for women and 120 kg for men.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women beyond the first trimester. It is also not recommended for people with mobility problems or recent injuries. We advise you to contact your doctor if you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity and to inform the guide of any pathology. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
Other information
The activity can be done all year round and is confirmed with a minimum group of 3 people.
A few days before the activity you will receive the exact location of the meeting point.
A transfer service is offered from Valencia, to be contracted directly with the organiser once the booking has been confirmed.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point, but it is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
