At Peña Cabarga, calm is not sought after: it finds you as soon as you arrive.
Spend a night in a panoramic dome surrounded by nature, with large windows overlooking the valley and all the comforts you need to unwind without rushing. An intimate and different getaway where the landscape, the silence and the comfort combine to give you a rest that you can really feel.
What we will do
Your experience begins at Los Acebos de Peña Cabarga, a privileged setting in Cantabria where the forest, the valley and the open sky become the protagonists. From 15: 00 until 23: 00, you will be welcomed at the accommodation and accompanied to your private panoramic dome, perfectly integrated into the landscape.
The dome has a double bed, full bathroom with shower, amenities, hairdryer and a small office with microwave, fridge, toaster, coffee maker, herbal teas and water. You will also have air conditioning, heating, TV, electric fireplace and private terrace. Everything is designed to offer you comfort, privacy and a warm atmosphere from the very first moment.
In the evening, you can relax in the Japanese garden, or simply contemplate the sky through the huge panoramic window. Peña Cabarga is one of the best places in the area to observe stars, birds and nocturnal fauna.
In the morning, if you wish, you can enjoy a gourmet breakfast (supplement of 40 €) with local and artisan products: farm milk, natural juice, rye bread, butter, homemade jam, yoghurts, cold meats and seasonal fruit. It is delivered to the dome from the day of arrival so that you can take it at your own pace.
When the time comes to leave, you will do so with the feeling of having truly rested, surrounded by nature, calm and views that are hard to forget. Check-out is before 12: 00 noon.

This experience is ideal for adult couples looking for an intimate, peaceful getaway surrounded by nature.
The minimum age to stay is 18 years old.
Pets are not allowed.
Not recommended for people with reduced mobility (the bathroom is not adapted) .

The accommodation is available all year round and has private parking. Although access is easy, it is not advisable to arrive by public transport.
During your stay, the staff will always be available for any needs you may have.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
