Experience the thrill of searching for dolphins in the wild aboard a stunning classic sailing boat on the Costa del Sol.
Embark on the Intrépido, a spectacular 18-metre sailboat in Estepona, and enter the waters of the Mediterranean. Sail placidly through the bay as we try to spot dolphins swimming in their natural environment, refresh yourself with a full open bar of drinks on board and relax on the comfortable sunbeds. It will be 2 hours of shared crossing, nature and relaxation where, if the weather is good, you will be able to crown the experience with a fabulous swim in the open sea.
What we will do
We will start the adventure 10 minutes before sailing time at the meeting point in the marina of Estepona, in Malaga, where the organisers will welcome us for boarding. Once on board the "Intrépido", an imposing 18-metre sailing boat, we will be free to settle in at the bow, the stern or in the comfortable cushioned areas. Before casting off, the crew will give us a brief explanation of the characteristics of the boat, the voyage and the sea conditions.
We will set sail to begin a purely sailing trip, taking advantage of the wind to sail 4 nautical miles to the west or east across the beautiful Bay of Estepona. With calm music in the background, we will go out to sea in search of the dolphins that inhabit the area. If we are lucky enough to find them, we will stop around them to watch them play and jump in freedom, always keeping a safe distance to respect their wellbeing. In addition, if the weather conditions are optimal and the group wishes (especially on the morning excursions), the captain may make a 10-15 minute stop for a swim in the open sea.
Throughout the trip, we will enjoy an open bar of drinks including cava, white wine, summer red wine, beer, soft drinks, juices and water to refresh ourselves while we contemplate the spectacular views of the coastline.
We will return to the port of departure having completed 2 hours in total, with the happiness of having shared a day of nature and authentic sailing on the Costa del Sol.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for all ages from 0 years old.
Minors must always be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is not necessary to know how to swim, as the stop for swimming is not 100% guaranteed and, if it does take place, it is a completely optional activity.
Due to the classic structure of the sailboat, people with wheelchairs or reduced mobility should contact the organisers in advance to assess accessibility and whether it is possible to participate safely.

The experience is available from April until 31 October.
As this is a natural wilderness environment, dolphin spotting is entirely dependent on the marine wildlife, so it is not 100% guaranteed that you will see cetaceans during the trip, although the crew will do their best to find them.
Free parking is available next to the embarkation point. The use of public transport is not recommended.
A minimum number of 4 participants in total is required to confirm the departure of the boat, with a maximum capacity of 14 passengers on board.
Pets are allowed on board.
The route or the bathing stop (estimated in 10-15 minutes) may be modified for safety reasons if the bad sea conditions require it.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
