Do you already have diving certification and want to explore new seabeds in the magnificent Mediterranean Sea?
The coves near Cambrils, in the province of Tarragona, await you for an exciting underwater experience, rich in biodiversity and natural beauty.
Whether you choose a single or double dive, you'll encounter anemones, bream, starfish, sea urchins and posidonia, and explore fascinating dive sites with an instructor.
What we will do
The appointment is at the indicated time at the diving centre in Cambrils, in the province of Tarragona.
The instructor who will accompany us on our underwater excursion will be waiting for us. After an initial welcome, we will spend the first few minutes completing the medical self-declaration. Then, we will travel with the centre's van (included) to the cove selected for the activity.
A briefing session of about 15 minutes will follow, during which we will go over the safety rules and discuss the details of the dive. After getting dressed, we will be ready to enter the water.
We will enter the sea from the shore, always under the supervision of the instructor. The dive will last approximately 1 hour, reaching a maximum depth of 15 metres, depending on our certification.
If we wish (and we have selected the corresponding option during the booking), we can also make a second dive. Each of these moments will give us unique emotions and the chance to explore the waters of the area, inhabited by octopuses, cuttlefish, castanets, bream and expanses of posidonia.
Satisfied and happy, we will finally return to the starting point.
The activity will have a total duration of about 2 hours and 30 minutes.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for everyone aged 10 and over. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women or people with heart or respiratory conditions, or those who have recently undergone surgery.
The diving centre will contact you to ask you to register on the official PADI website, where you will need to complete a health questionnaire. Depending on your medical condition, you may need medical clearance to take part in the activity.
The experience is not available to people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
This activity is not suitable as a first dive: an Open Water Diver certification is required .
Other information
The experience is available all year round, except in December and January, and will be confirmed once a minimum of two participants has been reached.
During the activity, each instructor will be assigned a maximum of 6 participants. Anyone who wishes to do so may use their own equipment. Otherwise, equipment can be hired from the dive centre for 25 euros, payable on site. If you do not have insurance, cover can be purchased for 8 euros, also payable on site.
The diving centre has changing rooms and showers. Personal belongings can be left in the secure storage area at reception.
Accompanying guests may wait in the dive centre’s chill-out area next to the beach.
Dogs are allowed, provided they are kept on a lead.
Scuba diving is not recommended within 24 hours of a flight.
The meeting point is accessible by public transport and free public parking is available.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
