Your first time under the sea? Let it be in Menorca.
Discover the seabed of Menorca in a diving baptism in Cala'n Forcat. After a brief explanation, you'll dive safely with an instructor to explore an environment full of life: starfish, octopus, colourful fish... Ideal for beginners, with no need for previous experience.
A 2 and a half hour experience, with about 30 minutes of real immersion. Ideal for your first flippers in the world of diving. Are you up for it?
What we will do
We will arrive at the dive centre located in Ciutadella de Menorca, 15 minutes before the booking time. There, we will attend a briefing about the activity to learn how to breathe and how to compensate. As we will be accompanied at all times by an instructor, it will not be necessary to learn in depth how the equipment works.
We will leave by car towards Cala'n Forcat (the journey takes 5 minutes), where we will do the activity. We will enter the water from a small beach or from a side ramp on the south side of the cove.
We will do some initial exercises and, slowly, we will go underwater. The whole activity will be carried out under the watchful eye of the instructor. The maximum depth is 12 metres, but normally the depth does not exceed 7 metres.
Thanks to the calm, crystal-clear waters of Cala'n Forcat, we will be able to dive while admiring the marine flora and fauna that make up its biodiversity: bream, damselfish, starfish, octopus, moray eels, damselfish...
The activity will last a total of 2.5 hours, of which about 30 minutes underwater .
Who it is aimed at
The activity can be done from the age of 8 years and no diving experience is necessary.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
Pregnant women, people with epilepsy or who have suffered from spontaneous neuromotor diseasesshould not participate. Participants must fill in a medical declaration, in which other problems that may interfere with the development of the activity will be assessed.
The activity is not accessible for people with motor disabilities. It is possible to consult with the dive centre for alternatives.
Other information
The activity is available from April to October and will be confirmed with a minimum of 2 participants.
Although it is not compulsory, it is advisable to do an online dive training beforehand, as the briefing will be very brief.
There are changing rooms with showers at the dive centre. It is also possible to leave some personal items at the reception.
Accompanying persons not participating in the activity may wait in the cove. Dogs may also be kept on a leash.
There is free parking in the surrounding area and a bus stop nearby.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
