Have you always wanted to know what it feels like to breathe underwater?
Dare to discover it with this perfect experience for beginners in the bay of Cala Galdana, one of the most spectacular bays in Menorca. You'll receive a step-by-step explanation, with all the equipment included, and with the help of expert instructors you'll go down to a depth of 5 metres, in crystal clear waters full of marine life.
For 2 and a half hours you will experience a diving baptism that will leave you wanting to continue exploring.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Ciutadella de Menorca, where our underwater adventure will begin. First we'll fill in a medical questionnaire and then we'll go through an introductory brief ing(tranqui, it's very entertaining!) in which they'll explain everything we'll need to make the most of our first dive: how to breathe, move around underwater, use the equipment and communicate with signals. This briefing lasts about 40 minutes and will leave us more than prepared.
Then it's time to equip ourselves with all the diving equipment, which is fully included: wetsuit, fins, mask, snorkel, tank, regulator and BCD. Once ready, we will get into the van and head for the beach, in the middle of the bay of Cala Galdana, a spectacular setting, perfect for beginners in scuba diving due to its calm, crystal clear waters, full of life.
Once on the shore, we will enter the water little by little, always accompanied by certified instructors who will be at our side at all times. We will go down to a maximum depth of 5 metres, without rushing, enjoying every moment and exploring an amazing seabed for around 35-45 minutes. If we are lucky we will come across rays, barracudas, octopus, moray eels, groupers and many other species that inhabit this beautiful Minorcan bay.
When we finish, we will return to the base in the van, leave the equipment and receive a digital card that certifies that we have done our diving baptism, a great souvenir to share!
In total it will be 2 and a half hours of fun, discovery and a great desire to get back in the water.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is recommended for children aged 8 and over. Minors must have an authorisation signed by a responsible adult.
This experience is ideal for those who are new to diving for the first time. No previous experience or licence is required.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
The experience is suitable for people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility.
All participants must complete a medical questionnaire at the activity site. If you have any doubts, please consult your doctor. You can request the questionnaire by contacting the organisers; their details will be in the confirmation email.

The experience is available from May to October.
Access by public transport to the meeting point area is limited.
Free parking is available on site.
Swimming is required.
Pets are not allowed.
No showers or lockers are available at the meeting point.
For safety reasons, underwater diving is not permitted within 24 hours prior to a flight.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is last minute. You get a full refund if you cancel within 24 hours from the activity start. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
