Full description
It's time to take the paddle and connect with nature at its purest.
Descend 7 km of the Gállego river in open kayak, from Carcavilla to Murillo. For about 2 hours, you will alternate the thrill of going through fun rapids with moments of absolute calm, always under the imposing silhouette of the Mallos de Riglos in the heart of the Aragonese Pre-Pyrenees.

What we will do
The appointment will be at our meeting point in Murillo de Gállego, where the team will meet us punctually to arrange the necessary documentation. There we will be given the complete equipment and we will receive the first indications before getting kitted out.
Once ready, we will travel in an adapted vehicle to the starting point in Carcavilla. Before launching into the water, we will have a technical briefing where we will learn how to sit in the kayak, the paddling technique and how to act in case of a capsize.
Once on the river, we will spend the first few minutes practising basic manoeuvres on a calm stretch to gain confidence before the real fun begins.
For about 2 hours we will descend immersed in the majestic landscape of the Pre-Pyrenees, alternating relaxed areas with exciting rapids. To ensure safety, we will avoid the most technical area by disembarking a few metres before; we will walk just 100 metres along a path on the shore to re-enter the water and resume the descent with complete peace of mind.
The guide will supervise us at all times so that all we have to worry about is enjoying the activity and the surroundings. The trip will end on the beach of Murillo de Gállego, a perfect place to contemplate the route before the team's vehicle picks us up to return to the base.
The whole experience lasts about 3 hours.
Who it is aimed at
Although it is not compulsory, some paddling experience is recommended .
Participants must be 15 years of age or older; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
It is compulsory to know how to swim.
The activity is not suitable for pregnant women.
The experience is not accessible for people with motor disabilities.

Other information
The experience is available from March to September and is confirmed when a minimum group of 4 people is reached.
There are 8 double kayaks and 4 single kayaks. Contact the organiser to choose the type of kayak, depending on availability. You will receive the contact details in the booking confirmation email.
The facilities at the rafting base have changing rooms with hot showers and heating. There is also an area to leave backpacks, but there are no lockers (it is advisable to leave valuables in the car and hand over the key at reception) .
Accompanying persons not participating can wait at the base (there is a waiting area with coffee and drinks machines) or go to Murillo beach (about 15 minutes walk) for a walk and wait for the arrival of the rafts. Pets may be kept on a leash.
If you want a souvenir of the experience, you can hire a photographic report on the day of the activity (about 40 images) that you will receive by WeTransfer in the following days. In addition, the helmets are equipped with a GoPro mount.
Free parking is available both near the meeting point and in the immediate vicinity of the bridge. It is not possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
