Experience an unforgettable rafting descent in Benamejí, conquering the Genil river!
We propose a plan full of adrenaline and laughter in the heart of Andalusia, specially designed for families with children between 6 and 11 years old. During this 2-hour adventure, you'll brave the waves on a stretch of the river adapted for the brave little ones, with fun and refreshing rapids that guarantee thrills and excitement. It's a safe experience, surrounded by wild nature and perfect for jumping into the water for the first time.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Benamejí, in the middle of nature and only 150 metres from the Genil river. There, the little ones will be welcomed and equipped with all the technical and safety equipment: lifejacket, helmet and paddle. Before starting, they will participate in a complete briefing where the qualified guides will teach them the basic techniques of paddling in a fun and simple way.
Once in the water, the real adventure begins: the gentle current of the Genil river will guide you through the mountains. You will enjoy the thrill of the rapids while testing your coordination as a team, always under the supervision of a monitor and with an additional safety kayak. During the descent, you will see the great variety of native flora and fauna that inhabits the banks of the natural park.
They will feel the freshness of the water in a vibrant environment, sharing laughs and games in the rafts during the 40 minutes of time on the water. It is an activity designed for the little brave ones to feel like real explorers in a controlled and exciting environment.
Finally, we will return to the meeting point to finish this refreshing experience. The total duration of the day is approximately 2 hours, including preparation and time in the water, which will allow the whole family to enjoy an unforgettable day of adventure.
Who it is aimed at
This activity is specifically for families with children and beginner profiles.
It is designed for children between 6 and 11 years old (it is not recommended for children over 12 years old, as the section is for children) .
It is essential to know how to swim and not to have an excessive fear of water.
For safety reasons, this experience is not recommended for participants with recent major injuries or surgeries.
The activity is not suitable for wheelchair users.
In cases of reduced mobility, it will be necessary to contact the organisers in advance to evaluate each case on a personalised basis.

The activity is available from mid-April to mid-September, with daily shifts at 10: 00 and 16: 00.
Free parking is available at the meeting point .
Access by public transport is limited.
At the end of the activity, you can use the hot showers, enjoy the municipal swimming pool (entrance fee included) or share a meal in the restaurant or picnic area.
The raft can accommodate large groups, maintaining a ratio of 1 instructor for every 8 participants to ensure safety.
Pets and companions who do not participate can wait at the meeting point.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund!
