If you’re looking for a fulfilling experience, the Mediterranean has the answer.
Set sail on this 6-hour sailing trip off the coast of Valencia. You’ll sail past the beaches of La Malvarrosa and the Albufera area, dropping anchor in calm waters for a summer swim and recharging your batteries with paella or baked rice, drinks and snacks.
Forget about the time and just go with the flow.
What we will do
We’ll meet in front of the Valencia Yacht Club 15 minutes before the scheduled boarding time. The skipper will welcome us and accompany us to the sailing boat.
Whilst we board and settle in on board, we’ll be given a brief introduction to the activity, the safety rules and how to behave during the experience. We’ll cast off and, as we move further away from the harbour, we’ll be able to put into practice the basic guidelines for moving about on deck with ease.
We’ll hoist the sails whenever the wind is in our favour and begin to sail along the Valencian coastline. On days when the sea is calm, we’ll set a course southwards to admire the coastline bordering the Albufera Natural Park, before turning north to take in the urban landscape stretching out in front of Malvarrosa Beach. Throughout the journey, the skipper will share details and interesting facts about the landscapes that appear on the horizon.
There’ll also be time to pick a sheltered spot, drop anchor and enjoy a moment’s rest. During the summer months, we’ll make the most of our stops to jump into the water and take a leisurely swim in the open sea.
During the trip, we’ll raise a glass on deck, have a light snack and recharge our batteries with a portion of paella or baked rice in a unique setting.
We’ll return to port after an unforgettable experience lasting a total of 6 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The outing is suitable for all ages.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
People with reduced mobility can board the boat with assistance, but wheelchairs cannot be taken on board and the toilet is not accessible. If anyone in your group requires assistance, please contact the captain in advance. You will receive the contact details in your booking confirmation email.
Other information
The experience is available all year round and the trip is confirmed once a minimum group of 4 participants has been reached.
The price includes two drinks per person, savoury snacks and a portion of paella or baked rice (subject to availability) . You’ll be able to buy further drinks on board.
If you have any allergies, intolerances or special dietary requirements, please contact the captain in advance so that he can offer you alternatives. You will receive his contact details in the booking confirmation email.
You’ll be sailing on the Vagamón, a 12-metre-long Oceanis 40. It features various on-board amenities, such as a stereo system, 2 bathrooms, 3 cabins, a paddleboard, snorkelling masks, an outdoor freshwater shower, a swim platform and a swim ladder…
There is a pay-and-display car park near the meeting point. It is also possible to reach the area by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is flexible. You get a full refund if you cancel within 5 days from the activity start date. Within 4 and 3 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
