Do you want to feel safer when you dive into the deep?
With this 8-hour course in Tossa de Mar you'll get your PADI Scuba Diver certification. Accompanied by a certified instructor, you'll do 3 dives to learn how to dive better, as well as how to use the equipment underwater, among other things.
Don't think twice and immerse yourself in a complete training experience while you enjoy the Costa Brava. This is the step to begin to live scuba diving to the full.
What we will do
The meeting point will be at the dive centre in Tossa de Mar. We will have to arrive 15 minutes before 9am.
We will start the course with the theoretical part : a 1.5 hour training session in which the instructor will explain what each piece of equipment is for, how we can communicate in the water and the safest way to move under the surface.
We will then put on our wetsuits and boots and go to the beach in Tossa de Mar. There we can finish putting on the rest of the equipment, while we go over the most important information. In the morning we will be able to put into practice what we have learnt with the first dive.
From 14:00 to 16:00 we will have a break for lunch and rest. Afterwards, we will resume the practical training with two more dives, during which we will be able to perfect our technique and ask the instructor any questions we may have. We'll finish at 7pm, with our PADI certification and one more experience behind us.
The total duration of the activity is 8 hours, including the 1.5 hour training.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for everyone with the condition of knowing how to swim.
The minimum age to participate is 10 years old and minors must be accompanied by their parents/guardians, who must sign a permission form.
Pregnant women, people who have had an operation in the last 12 months or who are taking any kind of medicationare not allowed to dive. For people with hearing problems, asthma, heart problems or diabetes, medical clearance is required.
Prior consultation with the organiser is required regarding accessibility for people with mobility problems.
Other information
The activity takes place all year round.
Free parking is available in the vicinity of the meeting point. It is also possible to get there by public transport.
In order to take part in the activity, participants must fill in and sign a medical questionnaire about their health conditions.
You dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres. The dive takes place from the beach of Tossa de Mar.
If participants have their own equipment they can use everything except the tank.
It is not possible to fly by plane for 12 hours after the dive.
In the dive centre there are changing rooms with showers and lockers to leave personal belongings.
There are several restaurants in the area where you can have lunch during the free time at midday.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
