Full description
A kitesurfing lesson for two, perfect for learning step by step and enjoying the sport on an unspoilt beach on the Costa Brava.
During this 2-hour session you will learn how to set up the equipment, interpret the wind direction and control the kite safely from the sand. All at the pace set by your level, and with the possibility of entering the water if you already have some experience.
The natural environment of the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, the sound of the sea and the thrill of learning as a couple will make this experience stick with you.
What we will do
The instructor will meet you at the facilities located in front of the beach, in Sant Pere Pescador.
In high season, from 1 June to 15 September, you will need to arrive approximately 1 hour in advance. From there you will receive instructions on how to get to the kitesurfing area of the beach by car. In low season 15 minutes will be enough, as the lesson will take place right in front of the facilities.
The lesson will take place in the area of the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, a protected environment. Once on the beach, the instructor will give you all the necessary equipment: kite, bar, board, harness, waistcoat, helmet and wetsuit. You will start with a theoretical introduction of about 20 minutes about the wind and the flying window. Then, you will learn how to assemble and disassemble the equipment, along with the essential safety systems.
In the practical part of the lesson, you will learn how to handle the kite safely and progressively: first with two hands, then with one, walking, releasing and regaining control of the bar. You will also practise how to move without losing piloting, how to launch and land the kite with assistance, and how to raise and lower it with precision.
In this way you will discover the wind window in first person. If the level and conditions allow it, you may even have a first contact with the water, although this is normally left for the second class. In any case, it will be an experience of intense learning and fun in a unique natural environment , perfect for kitesurfing .
The lesson will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is suitable for both beginners and advanced kitesurfers. As it is a private lesson, it is also ideal for children who are just starting out in this sport.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who can attend the class or come back afterwards to pick them up.
You must be able to swim and weigh at least 40kg.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to consult a doctor.
It is not accessible for people with mobility problems.
Other information
Lessons are available from 1st March until 15th October.
Free parking is available both at the meeting point and in the kitesurfing area. You will have to travel to the area where the lesson will take place in your own car.
In the kitesurf centre there are changing rooms and showers.
Accompanying persons can stay near the area on the beach. Dogs may be kept on a leash.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
