Discover how the wind can become your best ally with a kitesurfing lesson in the heart of the Costa Brava.
During this 2-hour group session you'll learn how to set up your equipment, understand the wind direction and control the kite safely from the sand. All at the pace set by the level of your group, and with the possibility of jumping into the water if you already have experience.
An incomparable natural environment, the sound of the sea and the chance to share this experience of authentic disconnection with your friends. What more could you ask for?
What we will do
The instructor will meet you at the facilities located in front of the beach, in Sant Pere Pescador.
In high season, from 1 June to 15 September, you will have to arrive approximately 1 hour in advance. From there you will receive instructions on how to get to the kitesurfing area of the beach by car. In low season 15 minutes will be enough, as the lesson will take place right in front of the facilities.
The lesson will take place in the area of the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, a protected environment. Once on the beach, the instructor will provide you with all the necessary equipment: kite, bar, board, harness, waistcoat, helmet and wetsuit. You will start with a theoretical introduction of about 20 minutes about the wind and the flying window. Then you will learn how to assemble and disassemble the equipment, together with the essential safety systems.
With the practical part in the sand, you will focus on learning how to handle the kite safely and progressively: first with two hands, then with one, walking, releasing and regaining control of the bar. You will also practice how to move without losing piloting, how to launch and land the kite with assistance, and how to raise and lower the kite with precision.
If your level and the conditions allow it, you can even try a first contact with the water, although this is normally reserved for the second class . In any case, it will be a fun and intense learning experience in a unique natural environment , perfect for kitesurfing .
The lesson will last 2 hours.
Who it is aimed at
The activity is perfect for groups of friends who want to get started in kitesurfing.
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult, who can attend the lesson or come back afterwards to pick them up.
It is essential to know how to swim and to have a minimum weight of 40 kg.
If you have any doubts about the suitability of the activity, we advise you to consult a doctor.
It is not accessible for people with mobility problems.
Other information
Classes are available from 1 March to 15 October. A group of 4 people is required to take the lesson.
There is free parking at both the meeting point and the kitesurfing area. You will have to travel to the area where the lesson will take place in your own car.
In the kitesurf centre there are changing rooms and showers.
Accompanying persons can stay near the area on the beach. Dogs may be kept on a leash.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
