Discover the art of horse riding in a unique historical setting on the banks of the Guadalquivir.
Enjoy a 1 hour experience that combines a practical riding lesson with a relaxing ride through the Cordoba countryside. You will learn how to prepare the horse from scratch, establishing a real bond before getting on the saddle. It's the perfect plan for beginners and families looking to immerse themselves in the horse riding culture of Cordoba, with the option to round off the adventure with a typical tapa.
What we will do
We will meet at the agreed time at the meeting point, at the equestrian centre just a few minutes from Cordoba. Our experience will begin with a total immersion in the equestrian world: we will prepare the horse together. Far from finding the animal already saddled, here we will participate in the ritual beforehand to create a real bond. Accompanied by qualified guides, we will learn how to groom the animal, clean its hooves and carefully position the saddle, establishing a connection and mutual trust before starting the ride.
The activity has a total duration of 1 hour and is designed so that we enjoy each phase of the learning process. The first 30 minutes will be spent on a basic lesson in a dressage arena, the ideal place to get comfortable with the posture and handling of the reins. Once we are in control and in tune with our four-legged companion, we will leave the arena for a 30-minute ride around the surroundings of the riding school, riding through the trails of the Cordovan countryside and enjoying the peace and quiet of the Guadalquivir riverbank.
When booking, we can select the option with tapa. If we choose this option, the experience will be extended to an hour and a half, adding an extra 30 minutes to relax with a tasting that can include a drink, cheese or typical local sausages. This is the perfect way to savour the essence of Cordoba after the route.
Who it is aimed at
The experience is suitable for children aged 6 and over.
Minors can participate accompanied by a responsible adult.
No previous experience is necessary; the activity is suitable for beginners.
To ensure the welfare of the horses, the maximum weight allowed is 90 kg.
Pregnant women and people in wheelchairs or with reduced mobility are not recommended to participate (except in cases of previous experience) .

The activity is available all year round, from Monday to Sunday, with morning and afternoon hours depending on the season.
Free parking is available at the meeting point.
The groups are small with a maximum of 6 participants and the activity is confirmed for groups of 2 or more.
Pets are allowed, as long as they are not aggressive and taking into account that there are other animals on the estate.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
