Do you dare to abseil down waterfalls up to 15 metres high whilst the water splashes in your face? Say goodbye to the daily grind and switch to adventure mode!
An exciting 4½-hour canyoning adventure awaits you, with up to 2 hours of non-stop action in the gorge. Kitted out with all the necessary safety equipment, you’ll venture into an accessible yet adrenaline-packed canyon, tackling between 5 and 6 abseils of up to 15 metres and jumps into natural pools. This is a Level 2 route suitable for everyone, which includes entry to the thermal pools at Fuente de los Baños in Montanejos, where you can relax .
What we will do
We’ll meet at the agreed time at the meeting point in Montán, Castellón. There , we’ll meet our qualified guides, who will welcome us and provide us with all the necessary technical equipment: wetsuit, helmet and life jacket.
Once kitted out, we’ll board the organisers’ coach for a journey of around 45 minutes to Zucaina, heading into the mountainous countryside where the Barranco del Centenar is located . Before hitting the water, the instructors will give us on-site technical training to teach us how to handle the ropes and the safety guidelines needed to master abseiling down waterfalls.
We’ll head into the riverbed to begin between one and a half and two hours of pure river adrenaline. We’ll feel the power and coolness of the current as we descend 5 or 6 vertical abseils of up to 15 metres with the water flowing all around us, and we’ll put our courage to the test with fun optional jumps into natural pools from heights of up to 6 metres.
After completing the descent, the minibus will collect us and take us back to Montán on a 45-minute journey. There, we’ll say goodbye to the team and collect our tickets to round off the day at the Fuente de los Baños thermal baths in Montanejos, making for a total of four and a half hours’ experience including transfers, preparations and the canyoning.
Who it is aimed at
Suitable for beginners and participants of all levels.
The minimum age to take part is 10 years ( children must always be accompanied by an adult) .
You must be able to swim.
This activity is not suitable for pregnant women. It is also not recommended for people with reduced mobility or in wheelchairs.
Pets are not permitted on this experience.

Important note regarding the timetable: The exact time may vary depending on the season or river conditions; it is essential to confirm the final timetable directly with the organisers after booking.
The experience runs all year round.
The excursion is a shared tour with a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 16 participants.
The meeting point has ample free parking. We do not recommend travelling by public transport.

What happens in case of bad weather?
If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
For this activity, the cancellation policy is strict. You get a full refund if you cancel within 15 days from the activity start date. Within 14 and 8 days from the activity start date you will get a 50% refund. You can find the full policies in the Cancellation Policy section.
