Full description
The essence of the Penedès in a family gathering that leaves its mark.
Visit Celler Vell in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia and take part in a tasting of 3 cavas and an arbequina EVOO. Discover the production process of this Catalan sparkling wine with a member of the founding family. You will get to know the vineyard, the underground cellar and its exclusive railway model of the area.
You will also take home a bottle of EVOO as a gift of the visit.
What we will do
We will meet at Celler Vell, in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, about 10 minutes before the start of the tour. There we will be welcomed by a member of the owner's family, an expert in wine tourism, who will guide us personally.
We will start outside, contemplating the vineyard from a panoramic viewpoint while we discover the history and culture of cava in the Penedès. Afterwards, we will go down to the underground cellars to follow the immersion in all the stages of the artisanal production process of the house's reserva and gran reserva products.
The tour will be completed with a unique experience: a detailed H0 scale model railway that reproduces the Penedès wine-growing landscape and an audiovisual that explains the importance of the area as a transit route.
Our journey will continue with a guided tasting of 3 cavas and an oil:
- Cava Estruch Extra Brut Rosé
- Cava Celler Vell Brut Nature Reserva
- Cava Inici Estruch Brut Nature Gran Reserva
- Arbequina EVOO by LoMasOli
We will accompany the tasting with some snacks and bread. In addition, so that the memory lasts, each participant will receive a 100 ml bottle of the oil tasted as a gift.
The total duration of the experience will be approximately 1 hour and a half.
Who it is aimed at
The visit is suitable for all visitors.
The cellar is not accessible for wheelchair users or those with serious mobility problems, as it is necessary to go up and down stairs. The rest of the facilities are on the ground floor.

The experience is available all year round except in August and is confirmed when a minimum group of 2 people is reached.

Pets are not allowed.
Free parking is available on the estate itself. It is not possible to reach the site by public transport.

If you have made a fixed date reservation and the weather conditions are not suitable for carrying out the activity safely (according to the expert opinion of the guide), you will be refunded the full amount paid. The guide may suggest an alternative date or time for the activity. You are free to choose whether or not to accept these suggestions. If you are unable to reschedule, we will proceed with a full refund! If you have set the date of your Gift Voucher and bad weather has prevented the activity from taking place, the Voucher remains valid until the expiry date indicated on it.
If I cancel the reservation, can I get a full refund?
